Using expiration dates

Amazon requires expiration dates on certain products. Scan & Label lets you print expiration dates directly on FBA barcode labels so you don't need a whole separate label.

You can specify which products require expiration dates by editing the product details for each product. Click the edit icon next to the product on the Manage Products page or next to Packing Details on the Print Labels page. Select "Yes" next to Expiration Date Required, then select a default expiration date as follows:

• None: You'll have to enter an expiration date when you print labels.
• Global: The Global Expiration Date (on your Settings page) will be used by default.
• Custom: Specify a custom expiration date to use for this product.

You can always change the expiration date when printing labels even if the product is set up for Global or Custom.
